Austin and Friends Page

Hi, my name is Austin Alexander, and I have a rare genetic disorder called Sotos Syndrome. I’m still not able to talk, but I am working on my sign language, so I can communicate with my friends. I love going to the park, playing baseball, riding horses, swimming, watching movies, hanging out with my brother Miles, and I love my Mom and Dad so much! If you ever see me out, I’ll give you a Big Hug and a #FingerFive, a high-five, but with my finger 🙂

Thank you so much for all the support for me and my friends.

#FINGERFIVE

When Austin was growing up, he had problems using his hands. When people walked up to give him a high-five, he would simply put out his finger. Hence, the #fingerfive was born!

Our Austin and Friends Community
We are striving to build a place to come for questions, support, and, most importantly, to make memories. We are launching 12 signature Austin and Friends Events in 2024, and we would love for you to come on board with us to meet some new "friends."

What a fun way to be a part of a special day! We are offering 12 Austin experiences this year for all major sporting events, along with a few fun excursions! Each trip will include Austin, Jason, Shawna, and some of our new friends, along with one of their parents! All food & beverages, transportation, a swag bag, and game-day gear are included. This is a perfect opportunity to join in on the fun and bring your spouse or kids to meet some new friends! Each experience can be split up, with ~8 tickets available for you! Call Jason Alexander (936) 552-4038 to discuss details and which experience you would like to donate to or attend!!
